MCEDISI RODGER SOLOMON / Group Managing Director

Solomon is the Group Managing Director of More Power Investments (MPI). He holds a Master’s in Business Administration obtained from the University of Edinburgh (UK) in 2019 and he recently obtained a Masters of Arts in Political Leadership and Government from MIT-World Peace University in India. He further possesses a Diploma in Education and served as an educator from 2006 to 2010. He also holds a Post Graduate Enterprise Risk Management and Certificate of Proficiency qualification. He also holds the following certifications VIP Payroll, Basic Corporate Compliance and Ethics, and Anti money laundering/ CTF.

Solomon served on the board of The Botswana National Economic Diversification Council, BPOMAS, GetBucks (Pty) Ltd and Teachers Union Benefit Scheme. He also served as a National Treasurer of the Botswana Teacher’s Union (BTU).

ISHMAEL AKUJE / Group Chief Financial Officer

Ishmael is a Chartered Accountant with experience in audit, financial and management accounting, Strategic Planning, administration, and other areas. He holds certification in long term and short-term insurance.

He is a fellow member with various professional bodies including Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCPA), as well the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

KGOMOTSO MAJA / Group Marketing Manager

Kgomotso is a marketing professional and a strategy Lead. She is an Associate member at Chartered Institute of Marketing (ACIM) as well the Insurance Institute of South Africa (AIISA). She holds a Master of Science in Strategic Management from the University of Derby and Bachelor of Business Administration from Helderberg College (Cape Town), a Certificate of Proficiency in Short & Long Term insurance, a Post Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from BAC, and an Anti-money laundering/ CTF certification.

JOHANNES MOKOMANE / Head of Administration

Johannes, as Head of Administration, combines extensive experience with a strong educational foundation. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies, a Diploma in Training & Development, and a Certificate in Primary Education, Johannes is well-equipped to lead and contribute to the growth and success of educational institutions. With over three decades of teaching experience and diverse leadership roles, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his position.

THAGISO POSHUDI / Human Resource & Administration Manager

Thagiso is a highly qualified professional with a Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, complemented by a Diploma in HRM. Thagiso has further enhanced expertise through specialized certificates in Records Management & Archives Administration, as well as Computer Operation, Booking, and Accounting. This educational background, coupled with extensive practical experience, positions Mrs. Poshudi as a knowledgeable and skilled Human Resource & Administration Manager. She is a member/affiliate to Institute of People Management

TAPIWA GACHALA / Legal & Compliance Manager

Tapiwa is an admitted Attorney of the Court of Botswana with over eight years post graduate experience working in the legal industry, specializing in the corporate and commercial field. She is a member of the Law Society, Botswana Institute of Arbitrators and the International Compliance Association. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Botswana and holds various certifications in compliance and Anti-Money Laundering as well as a Certificate of Proficiency (Short Term & Long-Term Insurance). Ms. Gachala joined the company in April 2021. In addition to her current role, she also holds the position of CIB’s Anti Money laundering Compliance Officer
